Care & Ring Size

All of our jewellery is 925 Sterling Silver. It is a natural process of oxidation, that silver will get a blackish shadow after years of wearing. You can easily remove the black shadow with toothpaste. Take an old toothbrush, a little bit of toothpaste and simply brush it off and rinse with warm water.

The usual gold layer on jewellery is about 3µ, we use 3-5µ depending on the pieces. hana kim pieces have a thicker layer of gold than common jewellery, but nevertheless the layer will wear off after years of wearing, depending on the friction the pieces are exposed to.

If your gold pieces aren't shiny anymore you can send them to a gold-plating institute and put another thin layer on, so they will have the glow again and you can wear them for many many years. If you want us to do it for you please get in touch with us:

Ring Size

How to find out your ring size:

  1. Use a piece of string or dental floss and wrap it tightly around the knuckle of the finger you want to wear the ring on.
  2. Mark the point where the two ends meet with a pen.
  3. Take a ruler with millimeters indicated to measure the string.
  4. The indicated number in millimeter is your ring size. For example if it is 5.2 cm your ring size is 52. If you're slightly over 5.2 cm take the next bigger size, which would be 53.
